I tutor the LSAT exclusively and effectively; Harvard educated and former PowerScore tutor, I have the highest actual LSAT score of the Boston-based Wyzant tutors. Most students have exceeded their own expectations: former students are now at Harvard Law and other T-14 schools, or have achieved high 170s scores and gone elsewhere. I show students ways to maximize use of their study time; I consider myself a coach of the LSAT rather than solely a tutor, I help students keep track of the fact t...
David is a master at helping you nail down methodologies, question strategy, and most of all, critical understanding of question stimuli. Definitely a worthwhile investment; I observed a noticeable improvement after just one lesson.

I have been studying on my own for about 4 months and could not grasp a topic for the life of me. He explained it, broke it down and gave me tricks to how to spot the argument. My mind was blown that I finally understand what is going on and this was only after one tutor session!
- Victoria W. from Abington, PA
David showed me how to look at LSAT questions in a different way, and I quickly saw myself being able to solve the questions I had gotten wrong before. He was funny, easy to talk to, and obviously knew what he was doing.

Dave was great (understatement)! He was able to point out issues about my approach to the LSAT that I didn't even know I was committing. Once a few fundamental errors were corrected, the problem types I was consistently getting wrong became much more clear. He made sure to work through problems as he was sitting there with me, in addition to reviewing past work, so he could make sure I was correcting my thought patterns. I believe this set me up to do better on independent work. If you are having issues with Logic Games, I can not recommend him enough. I went in without being able to solve most of the games to being able to get almost every one correct. I'm not kidding, I seriously thought it was a hopeless case, and Dave somehow managed to turn that around. Games happen to be one of my favorite sections now. If you are a person reading this who is basically like, cool that's you and not me...I totally get that. But I'm also telling you to give yourself the slight benefit of the doubt because Dave can fix that. You will have to work, but he will make sure you do that. LR and Reading Comp are said to be sections that are harder to improve upon, I think that's probably correct, but through teaching me exactly what the LSAT writers are actually looking for when you approach questions, and explaining seemingly simple logic techniques, Dave transformed the way I approached these questions, so I wouldn't have to brute force my way through. Learning how to spend less energy on questions and still get them right is really important, and he taught me how to do that. I think I'll be much less stressed on test day knowing that when I don't understand a question, I can go back, approach it structurally, and still get that question right. I would not have been able to do this without his help. Dave actually cares about how well you're doing. He gets how important this test and law school is to people, and displays a high level of compassion and dedication to tutoring sessions because of that. If you're truly committed to this test, and willing to put in the work, Dave is your best option.
- Tara R. from Boston, MA
Differing from many tutors I have worked with, David was able to quickly identify a major weakness in my approach in logical reasoning after few questions. Unlike many of the tutors I've had in the past, David made sure that I understood the question, and broke down complex and difficult arguments into very simple formats. I heard from people who excelled on the LSAT, that the test was predictable and somewhat simple, I couldn't believe that until I saw how David approached the difficult questions I asked him to go over. Additionally, David has a great sense of humor and is very easy to approach. I strongly recommend David to anyone who wishes to improve on the LSAT.

David helped me understand some of the things I was doing wrong as well as what I was doing right. He helped me zero in on what I need to do to succeed and with his help, I found the correct answer for questions I got wrong on the actual LSAT.
- Destinee S. from Stony Brook, NY
He helped me to approach the LSAT in a different manner, and he was very patient with me. He will be a great tutor not only for those who have just started studying for the LSAT but also those who have been studying for a while as well. He will see your weakness and teach you how you can do better.
