Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Dedham Health Hydras, you will lead swimming programs, offering both individual and group lessons tailored to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Swim Instructor to join our team at Dedham Health Hydras in Dedham, MA.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, particularly in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• Certification in CPR & First Aid for infants, children, and adults
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Effective behavior management skills, capable of handling difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured setting
